“Next generation” law firm employs client-focused technology and expertise

VANCOUVER, Wash. – (January 5, 2012) – A new law firm designed to meet the demanding needs of clients in a post-recession economy has been formed by long-time area attorneys Steve and Cindy Horenstein.

Horenstein Law Group made its debut this week, operating with seven staff from offices on the main floor of 500 E. Broadway in Vancouver.  The firm will specialize in business, real estate and government affairs.

“We are embracing an efficient new environment where clients expect a higher level of service and expertise, want fees tied to outcomes, and want easier workflow using client-friendly technology,” said Steve Horenstein, the managing member of Horenstein Law Group.

“Next-generation law firms are highly specialized niche firms with the entrepreneurial spirit and focus necessary to achieve client results quickly and effectively.  These types of firms have fared well during the recession.  We are well positioned to direct very large transactions and projects despite operating in a niche environment.”

Horenstein was with the firm Miller Nash for 12 years, and previously was part of a regional law practice that included as many as 18 lawyers.  The Northwest native received his education at the University of Washington and Lewis & Clark Law School.

He is joined by Cindy Horenstein, who operated her own business law practice in Vancouver, and brings 25 years of experience practicing law.  Cindy will serve as managing member.

Sekou Caldwell has joined the firm as a real estate and land use attorney, and Thomas Hackett has joined the firm to specialize in business and tax planning.
