Creative Fee Structures

For decades lawyers have billed clients by the hour but at HLG hourly billing is a choice of last resort.  What do you gain by knowing the rate without the final cost?  Our preference is to bill you for the value we provide, by working with you to design a fee structure that best meets your needs. We have developed multiple alternative fee methodologies including flat fees, predetermined package work with pre-set amounts of negotiations and meetings, budgets and scopes with not-to-exceed caps and fee estimates with collars. Each case is unique and deserves its own consideration as to what will work best.
